The Power Plant

We re-developed the iconic Power Plant building in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in 1999. Having failed under multiple prior developers, by the mid 1990’s the building had sat vacant for over a decade, significantly impeding attempts to revitalize the downtown. We preserved the historic, architecturally-important structure, and successfully transformed it into an award-winning retail, entertainment and office project. The Power Plant has been internationally recognized as a transformational urban renewal project that was instrumental to the Inner Harbor becoming the tourist and entertainment destination it is today. The Power Plant consistently boasts the highest visitation of any attraction in Baltimore, with over 7 million annual visitors.
